The "Italian Society for Endoscopic Surgery and New Technologies" (S.I.C.E.) has been founded in Rome in 1993.
It is the leading Italian scientific society for endoscopic surgery representing more than 500 surgeons involved in practice and diffusion of the new technologies in the field of endoscopic surgery.
S.I.C.E. is official member of E.A.E.S. since 1996.
The Society participates as a Provider to the "Continuing Educational Program" E.C.M. of the Italian Ministry of Health.
The official journal of S.I.C.E. is Surgical Endoscopy.
